A few times on our holiday we went out without the nappy bag (we normally keep it in the car if we go out) when Jalisa needed a change. SIL keeps a small PVC bag stocked with a few nappies, wipes, bags and a little mat. Being obsessed with sewing as much as possible, I decided to make a roll with pockets for all the stuff...fabric will probably look familiar. I wanted to use something I am not *too* attached to incase I stuffed up the measurements.

Open - it has three pockets

Rolled up and closed. I was lazy and so looked through my ribbons and found this velvet one that goes well with the print. I can't believe it has taken me so long to think of making something like this. I guess before I had Jay I did not really have to time to make everything.
Marie, I absolutely love it. I never seem to have anything to put my nappies in this time, guess I am just slacker this time around. I might have to give one of these a go.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great idea! Would be great for Jai as he doesn't need a big nappy bag anymore. Great job!
ReplyDeleteMarie, its gorgeous and such a practical item! I want one - pity I can't do anything without a pattern!
